time, it just gets away!

apparently its been a while since i lasted blogged

 because blogger is totally different now.

 but really, jared graduated a month ago?

and we are moving in 3 months?

crazy crazy crazy.

 though time has been moving very fast, 

i cant say we have been up to too much since easter.

parker and i have been busy enjoying 

some BEAUTIFUL weather outside.

and when i mean beautiful, i mean like in the 70's.

it was awesome. too bad it didnt stay.

because parker sure looked DANG cute

in his summer clothes.

we have also stayed busy by:

perfecting our spoon skills.

 playing in the laundry basket:

this seriously kept him busy for almost 2 hours!

playing with the ipad:

and watching thomas the tank engine:

parker has never liked watching any kind of show or movie,

until now. he used to only watch the intro music.

but now he will watch one episode.

which is really nice for me because now i can take a 5 minute shower

instead of a 2 minute shower.

and dont worry, we still sleep with our bum in the air:

we are also watching hayden again,

but only on monday wednesday and friday mornings

i was a getting a little burnt out 

and needed a break during the week.

but parker has started to turn into a little bully to hayden.

we are working on the "no hitting" thing. 

seriously, where do kids learn that?

and his temper-tantrums.... my goodness.

i need to record one and show it to him 18 years from now.

they are a little ridiculous.

but we still love him... (most days)

ever given was by wyoming's (?) govener (?)
(okay so i cant really remember who gave it.....)
but all he said to the graduating class was simply,
"you've done good."

on friday april 6, 2012 jared graduated
with his degree in accounting!
WAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

my parents and grandma allred drove up on thrusday
and after parker warmed up to them he had an absolute
blast playing with them and showing off all his new tricks.
i also had to show off my cooking "skills" and made
a yummy roast and mashed potatoes
AND home made gravy for dinner.
BOOYAH!


(jared's parents had to take off early to pick his brother up from the airport so we didnt get any pictures with them)

friday morning we woke up to a lot of snow!
jared's parents joined us for some YUMMY soup before
we headed over to the BYU-Idaho center for graduation.
i had never been in the auditorium before, and it was HUGE!

parker had come down with a bad cough
so i canceled the babysitter for him and took him with us.
i was kind of happy he wasnt feeling too great because
he sat so good during all of it.

saturday morning we packed and headed for utah.
we were throwing carissa a baby shower
for her little dude who is due to arrive in august.

parker had taken a turn for the worse,
came down with a fever, wouldnt eat
and only wanted to cuddle.
poor dude was miserable.


easter sunday he woke up a little bit happier,
but still coughing, still had a fever, still not eating
and still just wanted to cuddle.
jared stayed home from church with him
so we didnt even get to put his cute easter outfit on him.


we left utah sunday night
and took him in to the doctor monday morning
to find out he still had a fever, double ear infections,
and a red sore throat.
he is now on some antibiotics, and slowly getting better.

now we just get to play all summer when jared isnt
working or doing his online class for graduate school
before we move up to moscow to finish our
LAST TWO SEMESTERS!!!
WE........CAN....... DO...... IT!

also, happy 4th anniversary to my sweet cheeks tomorrow!
i mean really? 4 years already?!?

a confession

i grew up eating peanut m&m's.

my mom loves them. and frankly, so do i.
that was until pretzel m&m's came out.
and i just cant deny my love
for these taste-y mini treats.
and i may have eaten an entire bag
by myself this week.
(glad i got that off my chest.)


a few weeks ago,
our ward was split to create a brand new ward..
we got put in the brand new ward,
and i have to admit, i was a little sad to leave our ward.
it was absolutely my most favorite ward ive been in.
(how many times can i use the word "ward"? my goodness)
jared and i decided maybe we would just
go to the family ward for the summer.
that was until we got a phone call from the bishop.
and he asked me to be the primary president.
and then we got a call from the stake.
and jared was asked to be the 1st counselor
in the elders quorum presidency.
guess we will stay in our student ward for the summer.
good thing my friends from the old ward will still let
parker and i come to play group :)

the other day i was cleaning parker's room
and found his bouncer.
he loved playing in it,
but holy hannah, he looks so big in it!

and apparently i need to be
way better at taking pictures.
these are the only ones ive
taken since i last posted.

also, dont worry....
13 more days till we receive
another bachelor's degree!
jared couldnt be more excited.

staying busy

between playing with hayden in the mornings,

going to play group 3 times a week,
enjoying some beautiful weather outside,
and the daily dishes, laundry, dinner making, cleaning
parker and i have been staying pretty busy!
last weekend, parker and i went to utah
to stay with my cousin's 3 cute girls.
we had a blast.
parker loved all the attention he got from the 3 of them
(so did I!)
and he LOVED their dog cooper.
he was in high heaven all weekend.

while we were there we got to go swimming.
the pool started out really shallow,
and gradually got deeper.
parker was a little hesitant at first,
but warmed up fast and loved walking in the water.

utah had some beautiful weather that weekend,
so we headed over the the park on afternoon.
we are so ready for summer!

and if you were in rexburg today,
you would have thought it was summer.
sunny skies and 55 degrees!
EVERYONE was outside at the park,
and more than 1 person was wearing shorts.
we very much enjoyed the afternoon with daddy all to ourselves!we printed the first 2 years of our blog into a book,
and it is absolutely parker's favorite book.
sometimes i have to hide it from him,
cause i get tired of looking through it!
